Rain rain, go away…

Hi All,

Unfortunately it seems the weather is beating us again, all our venues are reporting the ground being to wet to allow us in. Hopefully our planned Easter event will be OK this year as it is later in April and should be drier by then. We have the AGM coming up on 20th March, the notice of meeting and nomination forms will be available soon. Please come along and be involved in the running of your club.

See you soon,

Mark

Hi All,

Thanks to all those who attended the AGM and had their say in the running of the club. It was quite a lively discussion. There is certainly plenty to think about and over the coming committee meetings we will see how to start implementing some of the ideas. As previously said unfortunately with the wet winter all our sites are waterlogged, so our first event will (hopefully) be May Day weekend. If anyone knows of a wet weather site we could use please let us know. Hope you all have a good Easter where ever you end up.

See you in May,

Mark

Already into August!

HI All,

The 2-Day has just taken place, by all accounts a very successful weekend. Thanks to Ron, Dawn and all involved for organising everything. Next up we have the August Bank Holiday events at Copford. Pre entries close on Wednesday 16th.
We are planning on having a BIke trial one evening as well, so bring your bikes along. Hopefully it will be a warm sunny relaxed weekend.

See you at ABH,
Mark

Summer is here…

HI All,

Well at last summer seems to have arrived. It was certainly very warm for the events at Renhurst. There was a good turn out for all the events and everyone had a good time.
Just curious, the number of people camping at events has dramatically declined. Is there any particular reason? Or is it just the cost of living and not having spare time any more. I like to think we are as much about the socialising in the evenings as we are about the competing. Let me know what is stopping you.

In other news, we are staring to look into updating and changing the website. This is partly due to technical reasons and keeping it safe from potential hacking. It is also a good time to make it more usable. If there are any items you would like to see, please let us know.
Are there other club’s websites that do things better or easier? Any feedback greatly appreciated.

We have a couple of weekends coming up in quick succession so get your entries in.

See you in a field soon.

Mark

Happy Easter

Hi All,

Thanks to all those who came to the AGM. A very productive meeting.
It’s a great shame the ground at Earlye Farm is to water logged for us to run the Easter events, but we have to preserve the land so we can be invited back again in due course.
A reminder for those not at the AGM – as from 1st May CCV trials will require shoulder harness as well as the lap belt to be worn.

Hopefully see you at Cow Farm for the 1st weekend in May.

Happy Easter
Mark
