Yes, I can confirm that as of the AGM in March I am now Chairman of Southern. Some will know me by face, some by Facebook and some may recognise the name! So let me give you some background.
In some form, or another I have been around Offroad motorsport and ALRC for 40 years. Starting in the mid 80’s with my dad attending AWDC trials and then with Hants and Berks LRO. My dad, Nick, went on to be Chairman of HBLRO into the early noughties. You could say, Off-roading is in my blood and I have been lucky enough to compete at the highest levels, all the way from the good old Southeast of England, across the UK and beyond.
I am very proud that you (the membership) nominated and voted for me to take on the Chair and will give it all I have to support the club and its members.
