Rain rain, go away…

Hi All,

Unfortunately it seems the weather is beating us again, all our venues are reporting the ground being to wet to allow us in. Hopefully our planned Easter event will be OK this year as it is later in April and should be drier by then. We have the AGM coming up on 20th March, the notice of meeting and nomination forms will be available soon. Please come along and be involved in the running of your club.

EGM / AGM paperwork

The paperwork for the upcoming EGM / AGM is now in the Members Area. The password for this was sent out with your membership cards.

Holmbush cancelled

Unfortunately with the rather inclement weather we have again been experiencing, we won’t be going to Holmbush in March. In the meantime, we have the AGM coming up on 20th March, details to follow.

2024 Leagues declared

The cut off for queries on the 2024 Leagues has now passed and they are now final on the Leagues page. There was an error on the CCV, which had quite a significant impact resulting in Harry Powell being the overall winner. Congratulations to Harry, apologies to Terry.

Elham cancelled

Unfortunately the events scheduled for Grove House Farm on 15th & 16th February have had to be cancelled as the ongoing planning issue that should of been resolved by now is still ongoing. We have tried to relocate the event but with the recent inclement weather (again) we have not been able to. Our next planned event is a CCV at a new site, Holmbush Farm, Faygate.

The National at Stainby

Bookings for the 2025 ALRC National Rally are now open online. There is an early-bird discount available until the end of March. After that date all event fees, and rally pitches will rise by £5 each. For 2025, drivers, passengers, event officials and marshals can also sign on electronically, saving time and hassle on the day. This website promotes Southern Rover Owners Club and provides information on the events we run. For over 40 years SROC has held events for Land Rover enthusiasts in the South East. The Club regularly runs a variety of competitive events throughout the year at a number of fantastic local venues. If you are interested in joining a friendly club whose aim is to have fun in the pursuit of all things Land Rover, why not come along.
