With the push to make things friendlier to the environment, SROC have sought and received permission from MUK, permitting the use of Vegetable Oil as fuel in our Trials in 2019. The full wording is in the “MUK Technical Regulations” section of the SR’s which have been updated to reflect this along with MSA / MUK name change.
We will be trialling this to give MUK feedback so they can understand what the real world benefits are, particularly concerning the reduction of visible emissions.
